The 35mm Superia Reala is my favorite all purpose negative.
I just bought a MF camera (probably won't have it for another 2 weeks or so though
) and despite its omission from the FujiFilm USA catalog I found shops that offer the 120 Reala. One thing that bothers me though is that all the places had the description for the 35mm Superia Reala just copied over for the 120 Reala.
The problem is - I'm not sure they are the same film at all. It appears to me that the Superia Reala is basically a newer generation with finer grain, 4th layer etc, while the 120 Reala is the same one from years ago.
Anyone with first hand experience ?

You may be right about that: the box for the 120 version doesn't seem to have the 4th layer language. But I use the 120 Reala and have been very happy with it.

Real Men Shoot Film.
Reala has always had the 4th layer, in all sizes. Reala was the very first 4th layer film ever made when it was first introduced many years ago. I remember when it came out and I used a lot of it back then. The 4th layer was heavily advertised back then.

I have heard many times that 120 Reala is different to 135, but don't know if that's true or internet conjecture. I don't use it in the smaller format - it seems uncommon here (Australia) - but it's by far my favourite film in 120. Gorgeous, rich but natural colour.

In my country, on the box, the word Superia has nothing in common with Reala 35 mm.
