Sutro Baths Night Photos - Oly m43

Mark, I have to say....you have a very distinctive style and a very selective approach to subject matter. Reading your images is an enjoyable experience.....

Like the images and the accompanying words.Thanx for the post as I have a couple of EP on my watch-list. You may have made my mind up for me.

Thanks pakeha! Yes, the EP series is really nice! All can be had cheap. I read one person getting E-P1 for $99 refurbished. All take the same photos, do your cost/benefit analysis. Flash, touch screen and blazing fast AF on the E-P3 is really nice too. I love the system.

Beautiful shots! I remember first seeing the sutro baths with my then fiancé about 26 years ago. We walked around, I took photos [that the local developer lost when I got back home] and there was a cave that we started to go down into but because we had no kind of light on us we had to leave. We said the next time we went we would have flashlights. That was about five years later but the cave was no longer there, it had caved.. in. And the baths weren't nearly as defined as they used to be. What a sight it must have been, an experience to have visited them in their heyday before the quake. You've taken a piece of history and recorded it quite beautifully, and that is a good way to remember the Sutro Baths.
