Being the complete nonce that I am, I've just bid on and won 1,400 ft of this on eBay (£16 for my curiosity).
I was wondering whether anyone has experience with this particular film from Svema? Google doesn't bring up much, just some asides on the film by people mainly talking about the Svema plant's dire situation, terrible quality control, re-canning OOD Foma/Forte and other Svema emulsions.

Heh... you've got... aah... enough material to test it out!
I can't give you any pointers but let's just hope it'll be some quality in there, somewhere.

How old is it?
It is Soviet movie stock, fairly grainy and with speed in ballpark of 250-320 when fresh. If expired, shoot as 100.
EDIT: Ok, so it's 2003. Which operation stopped BTW? TASMA still produces quantities of film.
EDIT #2: Ah, SVEMA

Hallo,
It is the Svema plant that is closed down, I checked and Tasma seem to still be in business.
I've PM'd you an article on the decline/death of Svema.
