I bought a Sverdlovsk-4 exposure meter along with my Iskra. Like the Iskra, I couldn't find an English manual, only ones in Russian.
So, I created an English translation for my own use - I've just finished tidying it up and I'm releasing it on the web in case anyone else finds it useful. As well as a straight translation, I've added an addendum describing, for example, suitable alternative batteries for the unobtainable Soviet original.

Update for owners: Maplin, in the UK, sell a rechargeable NiMh computer backup battery which fits perfectly (bend the tabs round out of the way) and delivers 3.6V @ 80mAh. Their order-code for it is BN22Y. You'll need a suitable charger too, might be a challenge unless you're good with electronics - it charges at 8mA maximum. They also do an ER3S lithium thionyl chloride backup battery, also 3.6V, which I think would fit too. Pricy but will probably last quite a while.

Thanks a lot for the manuals, especially the one for the Iskra. No more poor (yet incredibly funny) babelfish translations for me!
