I visited Colton yesterday and picked up my copy of his latest book. I think it is his best to date. Knowing the effort, determination, perseverance and just plain grit it took to make this book available is (no other word!) "awesome".

Thank you so much Gerry for posting this!
And thank you all for ordering a copy. I will be shipping out the majority of the orders placed tomorrow. Everyone that placed an order should receive their copy soon.

Stay safe Colton, I know Oregon is doing well with the virus. I'm locked down still, but I've had time to talk to my schoolmates in Eugene and a little south of Portland (all fine). Our numbers in Contra Costa County, CA are fair but I wish they were better. So take it easy going to the post office.

Thank you, John. We're safe and being careful 🙂

I spent a good while leafing through my copy of the book last night. Really excellent work, including some of my favorites that I've seen here on the forum over the years! I need to study it more, to see if I can absorb some of Colton's compositional eye.

p.s. Colton, I didn't realize (or maybe forgot) that you were a fellow Canadian-born U.S. transplant! I think some of that rural Canadian serenity comes through in your photos. I wonder if we grew up in the same area... 😀

Oh awesome, I didn't know you grew up in Canada! Where abouts? I grew up in Northeastern British Columbia, near Fort St John.
I am really happy that you like the book!

Calgarian born, but spent my early childhood and elementary school years in Regina, Saskatchewan, before moving with my family to California partway through second grade. I know Regina's not rural in the true sense, but rural compared to the Silicon Valley! 😉

Oh cool. I worked and lived in Calgary for about 6 months when I was 18, but I never really made further east in Canada. After Calgary is when I moved to the US, first Colorado, then to Oregon where I have been for the past 19 years.

Here I thought this latest book was on Blurb. Should actually look at the listings instead of just the thumbnails. Order is now in.

My copy was delivered this morning. Just as I was on my way out the door to work.

So, I have only just looked though it.

Colton, my first impression is simply, "Wow."

I am very happy to have this book.

Thank you.
