Time: 10am-3pm. **Be early if you're specifically looking for something**.

Bring cash as vendors don't take cards as far as I know. There's an ATM in the corner store at Harris St.

On past experience, there are bargains to be had but there are also items priced above market value, i.e. do your price guide homework before you get there.

Suggestions on what to bring (as required):
- bright LED torch to check lenses
- camera body in appropriate mount to test lenses on
- lens cloth
- a test roll of film to check film loading/transport
- range of fresh batteries to test camera bodies and meters
- coin or small screwdriver to open battery compartments
- light meter

I'm definitely going and I'd be keen on lunch if it was slightly early (noonish) since I'll have to get away soon after. It would be good to meet you ChrisN, and other RFFers who decide to come.
 
I won't be in town for March, but July I am there!

You know I worked for years just up the road and never knew about this :(
 
OK pretty sure I will be able to get there. I'll need an early start for the run up from Canberra. Is there still free parking on Wattle Street?
 
Not sure Chris. I normally park in Pyrmont St.
Sunday on-street meter rates are very cheap, from memory around $2/hr - bring some coins.

I picked up this cute slide projector made in the 50s or 60s - Minolta Mini Projector. It's in great nick visually but I haven't tried it to see if it's working yet. Much neater looking than my Cabin of the same era, which is about the same size.
Lynn picked up some real nice lenses for bargain money I think, but hopefully he'll chime in.
It was great meeting Chris N for the first time, after correspondence on and off for some years, and of course always good catching up with Clay and Lynn.
 
Would've been nice if you were there Bob.
I picked up two OM Zuikos: an 85mm f2 and a 28/3.5 - been wanting both those for ages. Thanks to Chris for spotting the 85/2 for me.
 
Well done guys. Some good finds. No camera markets in Hobart, but I might plan a future visit to Melbourne or Sydney around one. There seem to be bargains to be found.

I'm thinking about it. Weekend after my birthday, might have some spending money :)
 
I don't suppose there's any chance of getting them to move it to the following weekend :D. I've already booked tickets for then and can't really afford to fly down two weeks in a row. Peter (and anyone else who can make it) are you up for coffee or dinner on Friday 29th?
