Sydney in TMAX 100

Hi film lovers!

Usually I shot with Ilford HP5 plus and Fomapan 100 for B&W photos. However, recently I had the chance to shot with Kodak Tmax 100. And I would say wow, the grain is really fine and the tone is so classic!

The awesome performance of this film encouraged me to buy another 40 rolls of Tmax 400, as they have faster speed. Looking forward to shooting with them!
 
I'm about to shoot some 120 Tmax 100. I remember not getting along with it some well in my college days (I preferred Plus X)...

Hopefully I can make it work this time. Your results are very good.

Good luck to find some TMX 100 in 120.
For more than a year now no fresh production has been shipped to retailers. I don't know of any retailers who still have old stock to sell.
Unfortunately Kodak still has severe QC problems with the backing paper, therefore no new TMX 120 production.
And recently new reports from labs and users were published, that the latest Kodak rollfilm runs of the other medium format Kodak films, especially T-Max 400 (TMY-2), but also colour film, are again affected by the "shine-through" problems of the numbers of the backing paper printed on the film.

So using Kodak rollfilm at the moment is at your own risk.

I have had the same experience. I must have been the first one in line to buy TMax when it came out. I used it for a year or two, then decided it wasn't for me. I agree, I would rather shoot Plus-X and still have a small stash in 35mm. When that's gone I will try FP-4. And I have a few rolls of Silvermax to try.

I didn't like the middle tones with T-Max. It was like a loudspeaker that has great bass and treble, but deficient in the midrange, where most of the music is.
 
I recently dipped into the 100 speed films. TMAX and ACROS are my favorites thus far. Getting into Delta next as it's cheaper (bulk loading). Nice images. Thanks for sharing.
