I have a Zorki 4 and the manual I have is for the Zorki 4K.
The 4k says to set the synchronization dial to X or M depending which you are using, Bulb or Strobe.
On my Zorki 4 the synchronization scale has numbers of 0,5,10,15,20,and 25.
Can anyone tell me what these numbers are for.
I plan to use strobe.
Thanks

It's a delay factor for adjusting the synchronization. I use my Zorki-4's at "0" and at the shutter speed marked for flash (1/30 or 1/25) for electronic flash I have had normal results. The numbers may represents milliseconds of delay.

Paul. my Zorki 4 doesn't have a 1/25 or 1/30 it go's from 1/15 to 1/60, wonder if it will work ok at 1/60 ?

It won't work at 1/60. 1/30 is between 1 sec and bulb. You have to get at it from the B side. On my Z4, it's a little hard to see since the paint is a little faded.

I think 1/60 is too fast. Use 1/30 or 1/25, whichever one your camera has. In order to utilize electronic flash, both curtains need to be fully open, otherwise you will only get a narrow stirp exposure.

Paul is correct. 1/60 is too fast.

Thanks guys, I found the 1/30 setting , mine is pretty good as the paint is ok, just missed it the first time. Have just run a roll of film through the camera, I just received the camera 2 days ago and just getting my feet wet.
Have another Zorki 4 on the way and also the english manual.
Thanks again for all your help.
