Hi all,
I have close to zero experience in developing my own film but plan to start (again). From watching high ISO shots on the internet, it seems to me that T-max developer is more suitable that other chemicals to develop film shot on high ISO's (+1600). This is regardless of film stock. Above all, it seems to me that contrast doesn't get out of control. Grain is also nice. The question is: Is this true or am I dreaming (again).

Real Men Shoot Film.
I never push 400 speed films, because I think that I get better image quality from Tmax p3200 and Ilford Delta 3200 for speeds above 400. I develop both of those high speed films in Tmax Developer with excellent results. I have also used Xtol for Tmax p3200 and it produces finer grain, but the midtone contrast is lower and I think speed is too. I overall prefer Tmax developer.
All Tmax 3200, EI 1600, Tmax developer. 8 minutes, 24 decgrees Celsius (75 F)

Nice ones. That's exactly what I mean, great mid tones. I'll try it.
