T0 polarize or not to polarize?

Is it a good idea on my 50 summilux asph? Will a polarizer hurt the untimate image quality?

I think it depends more on the film and the scene. I wouldn't if you don't have to, but if there is a lot of water or haze, it will help more than it hurts.
