Hello, since i bought both contax t3 and Zm biogon 35/2 i wonder on how they would compare on a given shot.

This little comparison was made on Xp2 film since it´s my favorite.
Both set at 65 cm aprox and F4.
The Zm lens was on a Zi camera.
I used tripod and timer on T3 and extension cord on Zi.

Hope you find it interesting.

Bye!

The Biogon is more contrasty, but also looks like has a little better resolution. Anyway, it is difficult to judge because of possible focus differences and different brightness levels. The Biogon is a fantastic lens, but for B&W lower contrast is advantageous.

Place a photo from the Biogon C f/2.8 to the right of the f/2.0 and you should see yet another increase in contrast and perhaps resolution. I have all three, but honestly, I don't use the T3 except where I just really don't want to carry a camera. I suspect it would hold up a bit better stopped down to f/8.0.
