I had seen somewhere (was sure it was here), but for the life of me, I can not remember where, something about take up spools for the old Russian cameras.
Currently, with the 35mm film I have to cut a small piece of the film to get it to fit, but I had seen something about getting a different spool, that eliminates the cutting... an upgrade if you like :)
Any one here know anything about this, where I might have seen this discussed (assuming it was here ofc), or from where/who I might be able to find one?
Thanks.
G.

I can't say I know of the thread you recall. We can build another though. What camera do you have? Can you post a photo of your takeup spool? Thanks!

Hmmm, the only add-on spool I can think of is the Leica "Quick Load" but that's about it and no way could it get into a FED/Zorki etc.

How doesn't it fit?

Regards, David

Interesting. Reading that, get a 135 film inner reel and cut the centre slot down to make it fit a standard leader. Any film developer will let you have a used 135 reel for nothing so even if you don't develop youself thats the no-cost option.
