Last Wednesday my R-D1 and I had to endure a very rainy morning shooting some WW2 re-enactors in assault boats making a river crossing, followed by a 2 hour foot patrol.
The analog meter dial fogged up. The viewfinder fogged up so bad I couldn't see through it any more. :bang:
...and yet the camera still got me pictures I wanted.
Luckily in the afternoon the sun came out. I took the hot shoe cover off to let the top compartment of the camera air out a bit. By evening the camera was fine. Heck even the stiff aperture dial on my 35mm f/1.7 Ultron was moving freely again.
But I'm still thinking about sending it back to Epson for a CLA while I still can
