Tape for a Gray Bessa

This may sound like a silly question but does anyone know of a tape that matches the gray finish Bessas? I just love the way black electrical tape covers my Leica's badges and disappears from just a couple feet away. I'd like to get the same effect on a gray R3A.

Bessas have silkscreened lettering on the lids, I hope it won't peel off with the tape.

I've noticed a rack of colored vinyl tape at most better hardware stores now-
it's very much like electrical tape but wider and in a shorter roll. I think the grey is too pale though. --think i'll go pry the rings off my audi

Anyways, as far as I know the rings on the front are all plastic so they just snap off if leverage is properly applied in the correct places (don't ask me how I know 😛). Not sure about the back ones, though since they are applied directly to the metal I can imagine there would be more than a few punch holes left over after removal.

warm them with a hairdryer then slide dental floss under and they slide right off long time car debadger 😀
