Technika V Help

A rather disheveled Technika V came into life last night.

The rangefinder is toast. No cams. No lens. A lensboard with a #0 hole. I can not figure out how to make the front standard tilt or rise. Shift and swing work fine. The arm with the pull out end for rise doesn't seem to do anything. Twirling the knobs at the top of the standard don't make the lens tilt either. Is there an electronic copy of the instructions somewhere on the internet? Can I remove the dead weight of the rangefinder?

The camera is a good size for hauling around on foot or bicycle. If I can strip away all the broken bits and mount my little Fujinon-W 125mm lens I would be a happy camper.

In case you haven't made it work yet.
The rise on the Technika V works with a 'pump action'-lever which is on the lower left (viewed from behind) side of the front standard. You pump it to rise it, and then you pull it out a little to pump it to lower it. If the camera is really in bad shape, this may be missing. You could add a knob to the axle that is there. That is how the Technika IV works, although it is on the right.
The tilt does use the knobs at the top of the front standard. The one on the left is a push button, which dislodges the tilt lock, and the one on the right lets you tighten it when you have found the right angle.
I have never seen a rangefinder break on a Technika, perhaps it just needs a cam. You could try finding one on ebay, should be about $25 or so. Although 125mm is an unusual focal length. This cam would of course not be right for the lens, but it may be close. That tends to be hit or miss.
Lens boards are also easy to find on ebay with various hole sizes.

Thanks! I have figured out all the movements, front & rear. The lack of cams remains a disappointment, but I'll get over it. I have a board for my 127mm Ektar. The bellows are holding back the light. I'm on the lookout for a modestly priced board that a.) Is the correct fit and b.) Has a hole for a #1 shutter.

While the lack of a cam does suck, a 127/4.7 Ektar is such a sweet 4x5 lens. I thought you could get Tech V cams ground for any lens? Wasn't it IV cams that are the hardcore bit*h?

You can get them ground for any lens. For a price.
Technika IV, V and later cams are identical, it is the III and earlier ones that are different I believe. The earlier lens boards are slightly different too.

It is for a 127mm lens, which could be cut down to your 125mm.
