Terrible Day

Here I was walking through Warrensburg, NY, during the big weekend (the world's biggest garage sale) taking pictures with my Fed 5 when ambulances suddenly started trying to make their way through the extremely heavy traffic going south. Little did I know until I got home about the the terrible accident 5 miles south at Lake George, the capsize of the excursion boat Ethan Allen with 21 fatalities. A wonderful day with gorgeous weather suddenly gone very wrong.
My daughter in Nashvile, Tn. heard about it before I and my wife did and called us.
My photographs of the townwide sale are sudedenly without meaning and we grieve for the casualties.

I just read about the tragedy, and I'm sorry to hear it. But I would not call your photos 'without meaning'. They'll be more appropriate to you at another time, of course. I will say a prayer for those lost and those who lost loved ones, of course.
