Okay, horrible dream last night. Was visiting my best friend from college on the Jersey shore, and my Hexar AF literally fell apart into pieces. It seems that the whole thing is held together by a little paper clasp in the middle of the camera. I tried to put everything back in place and just hold it together, but it kept falling apart. And I kept thinking if I could send it away for repair and how much that would cost....

....probably just not-so-buried fears about the demise of K-M and the general lack of Hexar spare parts. Anyone have a nonfunctioning parts body to sell me? :)

Anyway, anyone else have a camera nightmare? (the grown up version of school-without-underpants archetype)

Oh sure, we all have dreams like that at times.

But what I do not understand is why you want a "parts" Hexar. Just get another "working" one!

GAS, man, you gotta get GAS! :D

I had one about my Widelux once, back when I was in grad school. I was on a raft in the middle of the ocean, very large waves causing the raft to go up and down. In the distance was New York City where I'm from. The scene was passing before my eyes like the rotating lens of the Widelux, with the waves rocking the raft up and down. It's still vivid to this day and it's been 20+ years.

Hmmmm, I wish I could remember what I drank or smoked that night.....
