It has to be said - this lens is an absolute steal for the price. Significantly more affordable than the 24L, 50L, and 85L

I agree. I have such a lens too. It seems to match well with the A7.

so far all of the canon fd lenses do... I mean all the ones I've tried.

Maybe the challenge is with lenses like the 17/4 or 19/3.5 or 7.5/5.6.

Yeah, I wish I had tried my EF 17-40 before selling it. I was hopeful the longer flange distance of SLR lenses (even the super wides) would prevent any serious challenges for the sensor.

One of the greatest underrated lenses of all time. I've bought and sold that lens a few times and am sorry Ii don't have one for my A7r, but I bet as the above pics show, the results are amazing.
