FINALLY I was able to sneak away yesterday and give this thing a good test drive. Seems to work fine! 🙂 The one is obviously daytime, the two others are twilight last night, and these shots make it look MUCH more light than it was, for some reason.

Yummy, esp. the 2nd one. The first one has digi-scan-artifacts, but that's to be expected. Don't you think the black GIII produces better images than the chrome? 😀 😀 😀

Hmmmm ... I didn't notice that, but I sure do now! Almost looks like a fingerprint. That was a lab scan, Walgreens, on the Frontier. I'm gonna run down and make a quick scan on the Minolta to see if there's any difference or improvement.

I was going to make a smart-assed comment about the 'bokeh' from a black Canonet being so much nicer than that of a common chrome Canonet, but looking at the images I'm compelled to make a different smart-assed comment altogether:

Yes. 🙁 I see it. 🙁 I just did a couple test scans on the K-M to see what they look like. At 3200 it's barely noticeable, but you see it if you look for it. {grrrrrr} At 1600 it's definitely there but not as bad as in the Walgreens scan. First major issue I've seen with things like this. 🙁
