Sometime ago I mentioned in one of the threads I would post some test shots with the then acquired Orion. Here they are. I found out that it gives the best results if you stop down to f 11 (and if you can, use a tripod).
If you have any images shot with the Orion, please share with us.
BTW alle images are from The Hague city.

Your Orion must be hazy. It can do much better than that. I think this was f8.



This was hand-held, braced against a window-sill.

Hi David and Valdemar,

My lens is indeed the Orion-15, the FSU lens. It didn't look hazy to me, but I must admit if you compare it with the shots of Valdemar, there is certainly a difference... maybe it is my cheap scanner......
 
I think they all look pretty good for a semi-vintage lens design. The coatings are probably not up to Japanese/German/US standards, causing some light scatter, but so what -- has a certain charm. I'm going to get one too. Nice work
 
nice shots ron!

this seems to be a very nice lens- quite wide angle but not much distortion. i really like the night time shots, the lighting is just so perfect.
