I'm now testing a FED35A bought recently (new and boxed), here are some pics, I think I have a problem, there is a clearer bands in many pics, it seems there is overexposition so: could it be shutter problem?, mybe the camera mechanics is too limited to manage?

Thanks, comments wellcome

Leaf shutter. Very nice but one main problem, the film advance lever is prone to damage the eye, too sharp and pointy...

Leaf shutter. (Actually my camera dealer here advised me against buying one, as he said the shutter has a reputation for being somewhat capricious - then again this might just be a general post-Soviet sentiment against technology more complicated than a FED-2 😉)

I agree that these shots don't look like it has a shutter problem.

It has a great lens, but a very poor reputation for reliability. After 5 films mine, (bought new) underexposes by two stops and the film transport won't handle more than 24 frames.
