Testing some lenses...

I took my son out back yesterday because it was soooo nice out, 64F and had him graciously pose for me.

I'm trying to get a look from the '20s for some b&w portraits i'll be taking later this spring. I didn't get the chance to try my nikkor 105 2.5, but I have a feeling it will do a better job of what I want.

From the top left....
Canonet GIII 40mm at 1.7, Contax G1 45mm at 2.0.

Bottom row...
Canon 85mm at 2.8, Contax G1 90mm at 2.8

I also bought a leica screwmount 90 on evilbay last night, so that may be the winner!

If you are looking for a 1920s image you better find some older uncoated lenses.

yea, 64 at spirit airport. It was great!

I have a 90 elmar on the way.

Thinking of getting a 50mm 3.5 elmar....
