Here is a series of shots I took in January during the Thaipusam Hindu festival in Singapore.

Light conditions were terrible and I decided to shoot slides to complicate everything. Here is what I got:

You can see more photos HERE, including my B&W set.

Your comments are most welcome.

Lighting wise, #7 is your best one. I think #2 can be forgotten, it isn't as strong as the others. #8 is really a great shot. #10 and #11 are also both fantastic shots, especially #11. All of these could benefit from a bit of photo-shopping, if you haven't already done that/don't have a serious aversion to it. Playing with the levels a bit could really make these photos pop. Some people feel you shouldn't use photo-shop, I think that is BS, the photos will be no more or less truthful if you adjust the lighting and maybe the color balance. In reality, you are making the photos more truthful to your artistic vision at the time of capture by engaging in a bit of post editing. Honestly though, you have some really great shots. I think you did pretty well with the lighting at hand. I wish I had some shots like this to add to my portfolio.

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate!

I know I should have done some post-processing on these shots but honestly, I could not be bothered! I will definitely do it once I get some time, I am sure they will greatly benefit from it!
