Thank you to Stephen

Many Thanks to all!

Had I understood all that was involved, I would have ran the other way screaming in terror incoherently into the black night when Jorge approached me about buying RFF.

The difficulties of keeping a forum site up and running and on an even keel are far more involved than I ever could have imagined. In concept it seems easy - until you try to do it. There are way too many things to juggle. The rub is not only are they are too many, but they constantly change as well!

Best to All!

Stephen

Me too...Stephen is great to deal with and I want to thank him for providing this tremendous resource.

It no doubt requires a great deal of effort. And that so many of us keep running back for more says a lot about the community that's evolved here.

I offer my thanks as well!

Living in German speaking EU I saw many native language fora, as well as many more in English worldwide in the past decades. Few are good but none excels covering my expectations in discussing culture, RF & related, philosophy in a mostly calm mood. None but RFF.
Thank you for keeping this place still alive!

Elliot Erwitt is quoted as saying: "I learned photography from a film box," I learned photography from Rangefinder Forum. Accept my thanks and appreciation Stephen, for the work you do.

RFF is one of only 2 forums that I ever joined. The other isn't camera related at all.

I joined in Nov 2006 and 50% of postings made in last 3 months!
I think this is because the RFF site is so easy to use, well laid out and posters are so knowledgeable that for years I found I wasn't logging on - just read, learnt and enjoyed.

But yes I totally agree Stephen re-vamp of RFF and his own wonderful site are glorious.

to give credit where credit is due,
without the mods,
RFF would not exist.

Their efforts to make RFF a nice place to visit make all the difference!

Stephen

May I add my thanks for the contribution to my much-needed education about photography - and thank you to BioMed for thinking to say thank you.

I'm arriving a little late but I would really like to thank Stephen and all other people who made RFF possible and nice to be in. Grazie

There are a lot of sites, but none like this one.

This is where I spend my time. The site is run well and has some unbelievably experienced, interesting, and knowledgeable people.

Thanks so much to Stephen for keeping the site what it is!

I agree wholeheartedly. It's because of Cameraquest that I discovered rangefinders. And because of RFF and the enthusiasm displayed here by Stephen and all the members, I've been introduced to superb images and discussions about photography.
Thank you Stephen!

I would like to see RFF a true RANGEFINDER forum. Not a place where all kinds of other cameras would be discussed...

I know what you are saying, but I would like it to be a place where people who love rangefinders feel free to talk about anything to do with photography.

My Pens, my Minoxes, my Trip, SLR & folding 120s would all feel left out otherwise.
