Hi

A big, big thank you to all those who helped me start my quest for an M. It was such a help, as I've had no Leica or RF experience before.

This morning I ordered an M2 and a recent 50mm f2. 🙂 Just gotta watch for the postie and get my film lined up. Also gotta find a small, easy handheld meter. If anyone has any advice on what they use, let me know!

You could get a Sekonic L-308s or if you want to mount a meter on your Leica, then I would strongly suggest the Voigtlander VC Meter II.

I'd recommend to take a look at the Gossen Digisix. Very small and displays the EV at a push of the button

Hi Suse and welcome to the forum. If you are fond of shooting in very low light I would recommend a Calculight-XP, $50-60 on eBay. Otherwise, the Sekonic L-308 that Dave mentions is very popular here.
