Met up this morning for a cup of coffee...
and I got to walk away with some new toys.

Im still not so awake (I don't really function before noon) but this afternoon and evening I can't wait to get out with it and see what it can do.

One more toy to play with as well...

Loaded it up with a roll of way expired kodak gold and we're going to have fun with it.
Thanks again!

LoL.. caffeine and cigarettes.. you will be able to shoot all day

Coffee cigarettes and whatever beer didn't get drank last night=Breakfast of champions. :)

Carl start shooting with that sonnar of yours... and send me the minolta hi-matic that roland gave you. :)

Hey Roland I think I might of stolen one of your lens caps, plain, black for a 49mm lens.
I don't think I have any 49mm lens's so it's not mine?

That should fit on the Konica, doesn't it ?

Aye, I've had nothing but wonderful experience with you Roland. :)

Hopefully by next year I'll get to meet you and the other Bay Area RF crew. :)

(Should be my permanent home by this time next year... so I hope)

Try adding some lens flare.

That always makes things artful... (at least in visual effects..)

Director: I dont know... something about this shot feels wrong. It needs to feel more green.

Visual Effects Supervisor: What exactly do you mean by feel more green? What does that mean?

Director: It just needs to feel more green.

Visual Effects Supervisor to lead compositor: Add a lens flare... I know these types...

Lead Compositor: Are you sure? Its just going to look obnoxious and incredibly retarded.

Visual Effects Supervisor: Trust me on this one... it'll work.

*After showing the shot to the director*

Director: That's it! That's exactly what I wanted!! It feels way more green now!

Lead Compositor to Visual Effects Supervisor: Damn... you were right...

Visual Effects Supervisor: *snickers* Pay up, my friend... pay up.

Carl -- Roland is a great guy, a gentleman and a scholar. Looks like you did very well! :)

If you guys keep this up his head's going to swell. To keep it normal size I just ask him to show me how to load a quick-load kit and wait for the spool to hit the ground. Works every time.;)
