You know that little screw/cover thing on the back of the Rollei 35? To the right of the VF in the middle of the back top plate? What's it for? I've seen a few cameras for sale missing that bit.

I used to own one without that screw. Bought it for $15, sold it a few years later for a Nikon F3 plus 105/2.5 AiS.
I guess the purpose of that screw is to get lost...

It’s one of the three screws holding on the top cover (the other two are are on the sides).

Had a number of Rollei 35's, most missing the screw. The best I could figure it was just one of three to hold the top cover on. Weird size and head. No harm without it.

you can get a replacement there. to make the shipping worth it, you can pick up a new top plate, too (if you have the later version with larger window).

Hey thanks for the link! I'll see if the camera that is supposedly in the mail will be worth getting that for.
