…….sitting amongst her destroyed abode and it’s contents, has brought tears to my eyes. This evil being brought down on innocent people by the russian government must be revenged.
The other images pale in comparison to the emotional distress on that lady’s face.

Wow; this is an emotional view of the effect on civilians. It is such a poignant picture.

Talk of revenge is frightening. While I share your disgust at what the Russian government is doing, seeking revenge leads all too easily to further perpetration of atrocities. I'm not sure how the world can best address this situation, but revenge is not the answer. Too many people have died already.

There was a time I would have disagreed with you, but I am fully in agreement with you on this. The Russian people did not want this nor cause this. The ordinary people in many countries have no control over the power-hungry politicians.
Maybe photography itself can be the best solution (or “revenge”): if the Russian people and even people higher in government or the military could see all the destruction that’s occurred over the last eight months, I think it would affect them. The sight of a dead young girl, perhaps 8 years old, being carried out of a bombed building was more than enough for me.

I live still with gratitude that my military service was served free of combat. Those I served with who had seen combat were shattered men. All of them. Combat was rarely spoken of other than a passing remark that it was just plain terrifying. I never have met a combat vet who bragged about being out there on the field of battle. That includes WW II, Korea and Vietnam.

Correct. Those I’ve known never spoke about it.
