That really bugs me too. How silly of them to have that light on when the viewfinder is obviously in use :bang::bang:

I was hoping that firmware would have taken care of that, but it seems like that gaffers tape is the solution for now.

I had to just turn the camera on and use my left eye for the first time and noticed the screen fogged up more than the light blinded me.. Ha, the light IS right in your eye.

I have a LCD film on the screen so I won't hesitate to use my sleeve or even jeans to wipe off the nose print😀

But for the LED blink I can only use a tape now.

I use my right eye with the XP1 and can still see it in my peripheral vision. I keep meaning to find some gaffers tape but always forget.
