The annual "no pants commute:" Great opportunity for street photography

This is a fairly good start, but there are a couple of issues that must be resolved.

First: No Pants Day should be a monthly event, not merely an annual event. I would propose the first day of each month, as it would give people something to look forward to.

Secondly: As in all things in modern western society, an equal representation of each gender of participants in this endeavor must be mandated. At present, it appears that the female gender is woefully underrepresented in this pantless enterprise. This disenfranchisement and exclusion of women cannot be allowed to continue. Fairness and equal participation must be the order of the day. 😀
