Darren, I had some disorientation looking at your pic... It took me a few looks to realize it was a wall above the shore. My first impression was of standing on the car deck of a ferry looking back at its wake. Even the sky looks like Puget Sound, where you see such ferries, and the land on either side suggests a channel through which the ferry would be passing.

Then, the chain and pylons are a bit sturdier looking than on a ferry, and the end looks more like concrete than steel... and what would those guys with surfboards be doing at the aft beyond the chain? Over-all an interestingly odd experience.

It seemed strange to me that the person in the ocean was paddling a surf board. I suppose it beats walking along the sand.
