The Beach

Perhaps I posted a version of this earlier, but here it is cleaned up.

Normandy Beach, New Jersey.
We have spent part of each of the past 25 summers in this or a neighboring town.
Hurricane Sandy was rather unkind.
Whether the shore will be hospitable this coming summer remains to be seen.

The challenging and difficult, but always remarkable Adox CMS 20 (I think this was series 1). M2/CV 15/4.5

Some lovely images you here, Robin. We have a house about two miles south in Normandy Beach. We went for a visit last weekend, our first chance since the Hurricane to drive as far north a Mantoloking. The devastation is depressing and often somewhat random.

Agreed. My folks are in Mantoloking now (after many years in Lavallette) and they fared extremely well.
I was last there Thanksgiving weekend and it looked like a war zone- we did what we could, but it was extremely limited at that time with no power/water.

Enormous amounts of debris have been washing up in the past couple of winter storms this past month. Beaches are completely littered with it. Much of it may be from NJ.
