The Elmarit 28/2.8 ASPH makes up for 80% of my photos when shooting with the M8.2. The 28 on the M8 is a perfect focal length for shooting subjects 2-8 metres away and when shooting people, is wide enough to give the subject a sense of place.
Summicron 50/2 and Tele-Elmarit 90/2.8 together makes up for the other 20%.
I mostly shoot landscape and reportage/street/documentary style when using the M8.2.

Billy, I really like that photo!
The chop and the signature detract from your message, IMHO. Your subjects are silent, and don't need translation. (I say "translation" because that is the effect created, for me, by the chop + signature).
Then again, I understand that if you're showing on RFF, the signature can be necessary!

On my M8 I've tried:
cv 12
cv 15
cv 24
cv 28 1.9
zeiss 25 2.8
cv 35 1.2
leica 35 summicron
leica 35 summilux asph
cv 40 1.4
leica 50 cron
cv 75
leica 90 elmarit
Mostly I used the 35's and I sold most of the lenses to pay for the summilux... it now lives on the camera. In an upcoming trip to Europe I plan only to bring the Lux.
