I have to confess that I had to Google "Bettie Page" -- and I have to confess that once I did, I remembered the pictures. There's an enormous difference between the outdoor shots of her and the indoor ones. The indoor ones are a lot more "tarty"/"Readers' Wives", right down to an almost trademark shadow on a too-close background -- about as far from Hurrell as you can get. Are you shooting B+W or colour? For the former I'd suggest a Rollei; for the latter, a cheap zoom to re-create the "camera club" ambiance of so many of the indoor pictures.
From the look of it (the hyperbole in the descriptions), she was a LOT better known in the USA than in Europe. How well known was she in Australia?
