Hey All,

A little coverage from the spring swap meet in Toronto this past sunday. Saw some great deals out there (of which was a nice condition M4-2 for $800! Still lusting over it). Ended up scoring a rapid grip for my SQ-A and a brick of Plus-X (expired 2011). I had to resist a lot not to spend more!

Brought my M2 and 35mm Nokton 1.4 and a little Tri-X

glad you were able to find something, i went one year and most of it was overpriced junk tbh and it smelled funny too not in a good way like film but like dust and old things

vowed never to return again but maybe there is hope! nice photos thanks for sharing

I was there! I think I managed to elude your lens however.
Managed to pick up four cameras for about $120 total and a brick of Neopan SS and Superia 400 each.

I didn't even check out the Leica pricing, knew I'd be very tempted.

Great deal! I wish i could have stayed a little longer but I had other things to do in the afternoon. My pocketbook likely thanks me for that.

FA, that's unfortunate that you had such a bad experience there. Ive never had anything but great experiences at this event. Last year I picked up my bronica at an amazing price. Great deals to be had there and being a younger guy its great to chat with some older guys who like to see a younger generation taking in film with open arms.

I've had a similar experience. Some of those guys really like seeing a younger generation walking through the aisles.

There are a few vendors who have priced their wares really high, however. So high that I didn't even try to haggle.

I was trying to drum up a deal earlier when i was there and really got him thinking. Must have been a deal on my end! Only thing that kind of sucks is that some are dealers and when you trade or sell you get the dealer price same as if you walked into their store. While it sounds fine to most its kind of a bummer because there are so many other great deals out there with non dealers its hard to justify haggling with dealers.
