Does nayone have any experience with "THE CLASSIC CONNECTION, LLC". They are a mail order Leica dealer located very near to my home which would be noce.... the bad side is that I'd have to pay sales tax

Any feedback?

I have only heard good things. If you call you can set an appointment to play with the equipment before you buy. I believe Huck Finn has been to the store when shopping.

I ended up buying from Tamarkin when I got my M6TTL. As they also are an instate corporation, though located in NY, I ended up paying sales tax too. It is a bit more, but consider no shipping and the ability to see an item before you buy...... the piece of mind may be worth it.

Owned by Sam Shoshan. First-rate, ethical guy, in business for a long time. Was formerly the manager at Tamarkin.

Sam is a great fellow to deal with. Prices aren't bargains but the items are graded like KEH (very conservatively) and I received the lens the next day after I ordered it! I will buy from him again.

I just purchased in July a 35/2 Summicron-M Chrome with Box, Case, Hood and Caps. Listed as M/- (conservative) for $1479. You be the judge of the price/product.
I found Sam to be pleasant to deal with honest, informed, knowledgable and very good sevice. I would recomend him.
