The Enchanted Junkyard

For the last couple of months, I have been exploring an old, neglected auto salvage yard here on the edge of Fort Dodge, using a variety of 35mm SLR and point & shoot cameras. I have found it to be a very special place. I hope that you enjoy my piece of paradise.

I was thinking about this recently when I saw one of Eggleston's photos featuring some tailfins: will anybody be crying in fifty years when they find an old neglected Mondeo in a junkyard? Or a Panda? Or an Audi Q15?
