My interest has settled into almost daily, continuous use. It is a camera that never fails to delight me when I use it. Try saying that about any other camera!

I got out yesterday on a mini photo safari with the G1 and my Ultron 35/1.7. ( i used the M39 to MFT adapter.) It was my first real outing with a CV lens and the G1. It was enjoyable. Focusing was pretty easy except the side light glare coming around the side of my glasses. I also learned that polarizing sun glasses and an LCD don't appear to get a long very well.

I learned the same lesson regarding polarizing sunglasses last weekend, so true.

Yes - the same applies to a couple of my cameras!....and has done for over thirty years!

My excitement hasn't died down at all for the G1.
Nighttime exposure down my residential street, G1 on Bogen tripod, using Panasonic remote shutter release, ISO 200; camera chose an exposure time of around 18 seconds.
Orion is in the upper left portion of the sky.

Look at that, can see stars even with that bright light in the frame.
