The firmware of my RD1S is version 1.0 not v2.0.

Hi, I've just bought a new RD1s from Japan, the camera seems working ok.

But I don't understand the Japanese manuals and use the Japanese software that come with the camera.
The firmware of my RD1S is version 1.0 instead of v2.0.

Trough I've visited RichC's great resources of rd1 but I couldn't pin point the differences between the two versions of firmware.

I wonder if you guys (gals) can tell me what have been changed, and is it worthy and save to upgrade?
( I uses Mac book pro intel)

Version 2.0 only applies to the original RD1. The RD1S will state that its firmware version is 1.0 and that is correct.

Enjoy the camera, it is very good.
