The first roll out of my new old G1

Compared to the G2 the shutterlag is anoying, even more so in manual focus.
But the focus seems ok and AE is good, too.

Due to the (insert expletive here) weather I just walked around the block and shoot whatever I had in front of my lens.

Here are the results:

Agree with you there, the shutter lag is bad and I find the MF useless myself.

Best thing about it is the low price it goes for now and the low price of its great lenses.

That is true... as an inexpensive vehicle for astoundingly good lenses, it's a good pick! But I'm glad that when I had to return my malfunctioning G1 to KEH that I opted to replace it with a G2. Just with the G1 skipping exposures and only the 21mm lens, I was then prepared to commit more resources to the system!

Volker, I see the G1 is doing well with all lenses, focusing, exposing... Focusing on the rainy window must have been tricky.
