Oh, come on, you just posted those pics so you can flaunt your 35/2 lens!

By the way, what's that big wart growing on the front of the camera on the advance side?

not true!
frank asked me for a photo. and whatever frank wants...

joe;)

It looks good, Joe. It's bigger than the Leica M grip and smaller than the Abrahamsson grip. I still have to find out what the TMP Grip is. Any info on it? There's a big camera show/sale coming up in April. It's held in an indoor soccer field. I'm hoping to find something used. I've sold off quite a bit of superfluous photo gear in order to buy the M2 and M3. A suggestion that I consider an M7 is just simply an impossibility. I'm not wealthy and I have a family to consider. It's actually more fun to get what you want when you have to find it affordibly, rather than having scads of discretionary income to buy whatever strikes your fancy brand new with no thought to the cost. I appreciate what I have more this way I think.

When I got a grip (man... that sounds really bad! :( ) I wasn't exactly crazy about it. I didn't find it gave additional stability or anything... until I had a long lens on it. That makes some difference.

So, Frank, joe, the grip is a godsend with any 85 or 90mm lens. For everything else... there's the claw !

Just kidding... Glad you got a grip, joe!! :D

francisco, you need to remember that i do not use a neck strap.
so carrying the camera with any lens, ready to shoot, with only the wrist strap gets to be a heavy proposition. with the grip i have something beside a flat camera body to hold onto.

I LOVE IT!

joe

Cool !

I told you the grip worked great on the P Joe, for us wrist/hand strap users it provides just the handle we need not to stress to much our fingers holding the body while walking.

I ordered a couple days ago the second one, silver as well, even though black looks great also ! I was thinking on getting a silver Leica M body for that one but seeing this I guess I'll just mimic your second P with a 35/2, I'd need to sell my soul first, but anyway souls are overrated nowadays...

Edit: Leica M users may find this one interesting as well

But I think this one definitely won't fit the Canons...

Joe

Are they made for other makes & models too? Where are they obtained?

Russ

actually, they are made for m-leicas but they fit the canon 7 & p perfectly.

they come from 'photo equip'.
i have their info at home and can post it later.

very well made, metal (aluminum, i think).

Russ and others, if you have any doubt or question, feel free to contact Eric Paulsen at photoequip AT yahoo dot com, he's a really nice guy to talk to, and very helpful as well.
