I've found my perfect bag for my Fuji mirrorless gear! Over the years I've used Domke bags (various models depending on gear) and the Billingham Hadley Small for Fuji gear. None of these, nor any other bag I've looked at had all the qualities I wanted in a bag. Here's the list of things I've been looking for:
1) just big enough to hold Fuji X-Pro1 with 35mm lens mounted, a fixed lens, quiet camera (currently the Fuji X70), and one extra lens;
2) enough padding and dividers for above, but not too much;
3) a short bag height so that I don't have to fish around at the bottom of the bag (i.e.: all the gear sits up close to the bag opening);
4) exterior pocket(s) to hold wallet, phone, keys;
5) exterior pocket big enough to hold reading material (newspaper or a book); and
6) a zippered opening of the main compartment without the big over-the-bag flap that so many bag makers seem to think is a good idea. I hate these flaps, especially the ones held down by gobs of velcro. They're just something you have to lift out of the way to get to the gear.

I just received an Artisan & Artist ACAM 3000 bag (also known as the "Penn's Pad & Pencil Satchel"). The bag checks off all six needs perfectly. I'm happy. :)

There is one downside to the bag, which is mentioned by other users on the web. The strap is a bit of overkill, with a big padded section in the middle of the strap. This can make it cumbersome to slide the bag around your chest. I'm thinking of removing the strap and replacing it with something a bit less robust.

You can see pictures of the bag at the Artisan-n-Artist website under the "ACAM Classic Series" section.

I've switched all my gear to small backpacks. Not that I hike but just that they are easier to carry and get gear out of. I found the Lowepro micro trekker series to be great. About the same size as the f6 domke but easier to use. I sling it on one shoulder.

From bad experiences, I avoid bags with zippered main compartment such as this. Zipper can scratch and catch on cameras, etc. Otherwise looks nice, but pricey.

That's another reason I like the bag. The padded insert walls are just about an inch taller than the Fuji camera, so it can't be touched by the zipper. :)

Glad you found what you need

I use a Billingham Hadley Digital. I use their shoulder pad or a Domke pad. It's essential. The B strap is too slippery without it.
