This is a thread on the CV 25mm/4 lens, so if you have any photos taken by this lens, please post them here.

Ok, here's a few taken with a CV 25/4 S-mount version. Very sharp little lens.

Photo 1 - wooden buckets on a rack at the local buddhist temple. Visitors fill a bucket with water, and then use the water to clean their relative's grave stone.

Photo 2 - building reflected on a gravestone. The modern world (shopping centre etc.) is just a short distance in the background on the left.

Photo 3 - graveyard right behind a house.

jon's shot look like my old VC 25mm - bitingly sharp, altho I found it v high contrast for b/w, maybe just too 'modern'. But yours look a bit soft, Raid, is that the scanning maybe? It looks as if the zone focus point is a bit close on some of them?

I see what you mean Paul, in Raid's photos #1, 2, and 3. In #3 it could simply be limited DOF due to close focusing.

Paul and Frank: I may have focused incorrectly on the front.
I still get confused by meters/feet conversions. I used to go by meters/cm and then I "retrained" to feet.

Frank,

I was standing very close to the rocks by the small stream and I focused on those rocks.

Does anyone (Joe) know how the Zeiss Biogon 21mm f2.8 c ompares to the Elmarit 21mm for size? I prefer smaller lenses when ever possible. JimG
