Interesting! I agree that Kodachrome is the best positive transparency film ever made. When I look at old slides, some made in the '40's, they still are great.
Unfortunately, unless someone buys the right to make it from Kodak, I don't think it will be around much longer. A small company would have problems with processing, as it is quite complex and the chemicals are a problem to dispose of. Kodak had a huge network of processing labs which will be difficult to duplicate.
Sure would be nice, though! 😎
