After 40 years of service the Lady started developing skin problems. After a solarium cure and a thorough cleaning she was ready to face her new Skin. She had chosen a lush fiery sexy red Skin. Shipped al the way from Japan, fitted snugly.
She's a proud old beauty again!

Hi Ruben,
I got one of these chrome neckstraps off Ebay for my CLE first. It is not as nice as this one, just with the small keychain connector you have to wrap to avoid rubbing the camera too much. This one I got from a private sale here in Holland. I have no idea where to get one.
They are nice though. When I am not using the camera I always end up playing with the chain!
Rob.

Love it. That's what I put on my Kiev 4a and am considering doing to my 5 as well. There's just something about that color leather that seems to work for my eyes.

To take of the cover? One does not take off the cover of a distinguished older Lady.
She had problems with partial peeling of her black skin earlier, but sinse she had been sitting in the sun in my conservatory she went peeling badly. So helped her a little. All of the black skin came of easily. Careful braking off parts with a sharp knife helps. There is some brownish sticky srimer or glue underneath the original leatherette. The remains of that are easily washed of with (not too liberal use of) what I know as aceton and Q-tips. It is a solvent like alcohol.
Hope this helps, Rob.
