There is a very special "Love Shrine" that is discretely located next to one of the biggest shopping malls in Thailand, its original name is Trimurti Shrine (ศาลพระตรีมูรติ). This shrine is believed to answer peoples prayers in hopes of finding love and a soulmate. I have been visiting this shrine on and off for about 10 years and it is a personal "favorite" place to hang out at, observe the locals and try to take photos. It reminds me of something out of Lost In Translation.
The locals believe that if you put some roses next to the shrine, light 9 incense sticks and read a special prayer that you will find "true love". From my observations, it tends to be more popular with females than males and for some reason, university girls and office workers tend to frequent it quite often.
I am creating this thread with hopes of slowly adding photos to it as I continue to shoot around the shrine.

For no specific reason it has been deemed that this "god" likes to drink Fanta, so it is advised that people who want to better their chances of finding "true love" should bring a Fanta bottle, open it and place a straw inside of it.
9 is a lucky number in Thailand, so it is not surprising that 9 incense happens to be the lucky number for this particular shrine.
cheers, michael
