The Machine Age

A little series I did covering the deterioration and maintenance of heavy machinery. All images were taken in Penobscot Bay, Maine with a Leica M6, 35mm Summarit-M f2.5 on Tri-X at box speed.

Very nice set. I see many possibilities for more pictures there. Like so many men, I like machinery too. I would get more shots with shallow Depth of Field.

Hi, beautiful shots, makes me think about my country, no more manufactured goods just imported ones...

I stick one shot of my own junkyard, got an old toy factory with large amounts of moulds, tons of steel, i just use nowadays less than 1% of the total production capability...

I bet that toy shop provides some incredible photographic fodder. How'd you come to own such a place?

new machinery doesn't really have the same appeal as the classic old stuff

I think that's why we at RFF are so attracted to the old and analogue -- it holds a certain ineffable appeal. Atleast for me.
