Thank you for sharing the link, every single photo is amazing. This is certainly one of the best flickr I have ever seen!!!! It is very inspiring and I will certainly learn a lot from just looking at these photos.

The skill levels are disparate, but hey, it gives a purpose to picking up the camera and walking out the front door.

No, no, we need the competition. The act of trying to win against all odds is worthier than winning with the odds on your side.

But don't forget, alot of us who vote are as amateur as they come and might not spot the difference. Technical excellence is often wasted on me when it comes to looking at and appreciating photo's.

For me there are some great photo's on the Pinhole Thread taken by "low status" photog's using shoe boxes or biscuit tins in their back yards that outshine alot of the pro work on other threads, and in the gallery, shot with mega-buck equipment. So even the kit used often doesn't count for much.

I don't know much about photography, but I kmow what I like.;)

I would like to say that i am very sorry because of this month contest. but marc who started this magic roll contest is gone from some reason and he didnt inform me why or will he come back. at first he wanted to send a roll of film to winners and now when he is gone i dont know what to do and should i continue with his contest. i was just helping him here and i dont want to take over a contest from him. thats why we will stop this contest until he is back. thanks to all of you who wanted to participate. i think that we had some very nice photos here. since there is no contest anymore i would like to ask you to upload your photos in this thread just to show them to people. thanks and i apologize once again.

All right, I saw a magic show on the street show last week. The magician told me to hold a playing card that was a king of *****s in my hand. I closed it tight with both hands, and saw that clearly, it was the jack of diamonds. He told me to back up 3 steps, and then merged his hand, then told me to look at the card. It had turned into a jack of diamonds. How he managed to do that? Thanking you,
