The excellent Italian site Nico very kindly links to points out that almost all of Wolff's negatives were destroyed in an air-raid during the war, a loss which affected him very badly and contributed greatly to his early death. This would explain why we haven't heard more of him.

But - on a happier note - one more Wollf picture from me and then I really will stop droning on 🙂. You may recall the old joke
"Are you taking him home for dinner?"
"No - he's had his dinner, Now we're going to the movies..."
And do you know, I think they were 🙂
