Excellent series. I prefer meterless Contax/Kiev cameras. I have one II, two IIa's and 3 Kievs(II, 2a and 4a), and I love using them.

Great photos Christian, the lost art of street photography has never been more powerful than the selections in your portfolio. I'm not a newbie to rangefinders, but my recent acquisition of a IIIa has changed my thought process of old school pre slr photography. Keep up the great shooting & nice work again. Dave

Truthfully, I don't care much for the way they handle, but I wanted a Contax as soon as I saw a picture of one when I was about 13--I thought it was the most beautiful camera I'd ever seen. That was before I knew what a Kiev was, and eventually I bought a Kiev and a couple of lenses just so I could have the thing around to look at. There's no denying that the Contax is a gorgeous camera.
